• The team had to forfeit its first-place standing in the Northern Division after it was discovered that John Woudenberg – a tackle for the San Francisco 49ers – had suited up “in disguise” as the Clipper’s Courtney Thorell during the team’s 24-19 victory over the Los Angeles Bulldogs.
  • Located in Golden Gate park, Kezar Stadium was build in 1925 with the help of a $100,000 gift from the estate of Mary Kezar.  Over the years, it has served as the home for many professional teams including the San Francisco Clippers, the San Francisco 49ers, the Oakland Raiders and most recently, the San Francisco DogFish – a Major League Ultimate Frisbee team.
